LOT

In February 2012 we filled 1050 bottles all individually numbered. After 4 years since the last Boal 1982 bottling, we decided to make a new one. At the time of the first bottling (June 2007), the wine that was left in the demijohns was transferred to old French oak casks, with the particularity of filling them only up to half measure. On the other hand, we chose to use casks located on the higher parts of the warehouse, very close to the roof top. By making these two options we were able to obtain a wine with an extraordinary concentration at all levels which is immediately noticeable on the initial impact on the nose. However, it is the acidity that most felt the effect of the high concentration overlaying the sweetness of this Boal 1982 making it long and fresh in the after taste.
