VINEYARDS AND VINIFICATION

Grapes from a single vineyard located in Estreito de Câmara de Lobos, South Coast of Madeira Island. Arresting of fermentation takes place at the desired degree of sweetness by adding vinic alcohol (96%).

LOT

This wine originates from a single vineyard located in the lower slopes of Estreito de Câmara de Lobos, in the south coast of Madeira Island. we harvested half of the grapes a week before they reached full maturation, thus obtaining higher acidity levels. This characteristic was reinforced by the use of continuous press in the winemaking process. In March 2008, we started the aging process of this wine by the traditional Canteiro method, under moderate temperatures, in old French oak casks. In May 2018, 2.378 bottles have been filled.
