In September 1945, he took over the family business, expanding it throughout his life. In 1967, he decided to represent our wines in Japan. Ricardo Diogo had the opportunity to meet Mr. Yasuhiro Kinoshita for the first time in June 1990, when he visited Madeira Island. He was, without doubt, a person with major influence in his entry to Vinhos Barbeito and in the direction the business took until the present day. TASTING NOTES AND HARMONIES

Amber dark colour.
Antic wood on a subtle fresh bouquet, hints of white pepper, cinnamon, clove, butterscotch, nuts, sultanas and prunes. Hugely complex on the palate, showing a lifted citric acidity. Meaty and spiced marmalade flavours.
Lingering fresh finish.
Excellent as a digestif, pairs well with strong cheese.
